Vintage Tyres, the world’s largest supplier of original-equipment tyres for enthusiast vehicles, has appointed Ben Field, who joined the company last June, as its new managing director.

Ben, who has 25 years’ experience in the classic vehicle industry as a restorer, road tester and journalist, takes over from long-standing managing director Chris Marchant, who brought Vintage Tyres to its base at the National Motor Museum at Beaulieu, Hampshire, in 1991.
