The Wee Run Frae The Doc’s Auld Hoose

by

This year sees the fourth running of the splendidly named Wee Run Frae The Doc’s Auld Hoose.

The event was inspired by Alistair Huddleston’s father, Dr Iain Huddleston, one of the founding members of the Central Scottish VMCC. Dr Huddleston rode vintage motorcycles for more than 70 years and was especially fond of early flat tankers.

The event takes place in Blairgowrie on September 9. It is open to all motorcycles and three-wheelers over 25 years of age, but girder fork machines are especially welcome. Last year there were 83 at the lunch stop, with more than half of the machines being from before 1950, and the oldest bike a 1916 Triumph. Entry forms are available from Alistair on [email protected] or call 07788 475849.
