The Pioneering spirit…

A 1903 Triumph awaits the start of the 1951 Pioneer run…

Riders start from Epsom racecourse, ending up on Madeira Drive in Brighton, where they form a magnificent display. It’s well worth a look – and the sun normally shines too.

After the Pioneer Run the Sunbeam club provides many other events for all makes of veteran and vintage machines, and they are all tailored to suit this era of motorcycle, to which the club is committed.

The next four events are May 11-15, Warwickshire Weekend near Stratford/Avon, pre-1940 closed to club; May 20, Ixion Cavalcade, Bexhill-on-Sea, Sussex, pre-1940; May 27, Conyboro Run, Chiddingly, Sussex, pre-1940; June 10, Rose of Shires Run, Stoke Bruerne, Northants, pre-1931. If you join the club you’ll obtain reduced entry fees for all listed events.
