‘Tea trailer’ completes Flying Vicar’s Bantam ensemble

Some months ago, we published a photo of Sussex British Motorcycle Owners’ Club member Richard Bennett’s nice-looking BSA Bantam and sidecar combination, and the final sentence inferred that one day he might fit a ‘tea trailer’ too – and here it is, kindly sent to us by Malcolm Walter.

Tea up! As well as lugging a sidecar around, Richard Bennett’s BSA Bantam now has a ‘tea trailer’ to contend with too – but doesn’t it look pretty?

Richard was nicknamed the ‘Flying Vicar’ because he regularly attended the Goodwood Revival meeting in period motorcycle clothing, including a leather jacket with ‘The Vicar’ written on the back, and white socks turned over outside his boots.

The matching ‘tea trailer’ is equipped with all the essentials for self-sufficiency when Richard attends the many local shows in the coming season.
