It’s a thumbs-up from Lee Jackson as he presents Richard with his award.

Although gusty winds and heavy showers kept many would-be visitors away, the Saxilby Bikers’ fundraising event on Sunday, July 29 still went ahead and raised more than £700 for the Lincs and Notts Air Ambulance.

Saxilby Bikers’ fundraising day organisers Cliff Newell and Roy Jewison are seen with superbike guest Lee Jackson, who presented the best bike award and drew the winning raffle ticket.

Best bike on the day was a 1972 MV Agusta 350B whose owner, Richard Hagues, received his trophy from superbike racer Lee Jackson, who also drew the winning raffle ticket for the main prize, a Harley-Davidson Experience day that was won by Dennis Shepherd.

The club thanks everyone who turned up, and looks forward to next year’s event.
