Sammy and Freddie wow the crowds at 10th Anniversary Brackley Festival

by

You just can’t keep an old racer down – and Sammy Miller couldn’t resist giving his 500cc Gilera four and 1954 BMW Rennsport an outing on the High Street circuit at the 10th Anniversary Brackley Festival of Motorcycling over the weekend of August 11-12.

Whether it’s the howl of the Gillie or the roar of the Bee-Em, it’s all the same to Sam.

Another legendary rider giving similar demonstrations was Freddie Spencer, who forsook his usual Hondas to ride an MV.

The Brackley Festival, which is a significant fundraiser for local and regional causes, has become one of the premier motorcycling events in the country, with a unique blend of static and live bikes and exciting bike-related attractions.

Sammy Miller shows some neat, stylish riding aboard the 500cc Gilera four.

The Ace Cafe returned to the event this year to sponsor the cafe racer competition.
