Post vintage class

by

As usual, it’s also open to all veteran, vintage and post-vintage machines as well as three-wheelers of any make.

But now there will be a class dedicated to machines dating from 1932 to 1940. Post-vintage motorcycles had previously been invited as a ‘demonstration’ but interest was such that it
has now been made a full class with souvenirs and prizes.

The event will start and end at Headcorn Airfield, south of Headcorn village in Kent on the A274. The route around quiet roads in rural Kent is comprehensively marked and has been carefully chosen so as to be suitable for older machines.

Marshals will be posted at key points and there is a choice of distance, irrespective of machine age, of a relatively flat 40 miles or 50 miles for riders of a more sporting disposition.

Lunch is at the Lord Raglan and souvenir horse brasses will be awarded to all finishers. Camping is also available during the event.
