More Fifties Cadwell

Here are some more images taken by Colin Clark at Cadwell in the early 1950s.

Thanks to Dennis Prosser we now have names for some of the riders. It would be great if Dennis would be willing to help with identifying the remaining competitors. (As he indeed has, see his letter and photograph on this page – Ed.)

The first of the two images here is a single cylinder outfit titled “breasting the mountain”, unfortunately not easily identifiable, but really trying on the mountain.

The second image is one of the quite rare racing DKWs (number 94).

From my research there were reported to be only 110 of the 250s and 25 of the 350s made, and this looks like one of the 350s.

There are 12 remaining images, which I will send in sets of two at a time. I hope readers will find them interesting.
