Modern classics getting practical

With so many manufacturers now producing a modern alternative to what amounts to the ‘classic Brit twin’, it’s little surprise that the aftermarket industry is starting to catch on.

With many modern machines also relying on the manufacturer’s own range of bolt-on parts, there is, however, the issue that they’re perhaps not quite as practical as the original twins may have been, and a prime example is the Triumph Street Scrambler that recently had a stay at Old Bike Mart HQ.

We’ll look at the bike itself in closer detail soon, but I’ll just mention the fact that it is near-impossible to carry any amount of luggage on the standard bike, which is where a recent product from Ventura comes into play.
