This is a picture of my late mum and dad on their motorcycle – registration number EGX 724, taken in the early to mid Forties.
I recently found it in a box of old photos, and I was wondering if any of your readers could identify the make of bike or indeed knew of its existence.

The photo is rather dark, but the petrol tank knee rubbers could provide a clue. The powerplant appears to be a single cylinder, with a forward-mounted magneto. It appears to be a rigid (or sprung hub), and has girder forks… any ideas?
