Killin beginning for MacGregor event

by

Bob MacGregor, winner in 1932, used the SSDT to try his 1933 ISDT machine

Older enthusiasts will remember Bob is the only Scottish winner of the Scottish Six Days Trial. The run will be for motorcycles – Pre 75 preferred – and it will start and finish in Bob’s home town at the McLaren Hall, Main Street, Killin, Perthshire FK21 8UH which is 37 miles north of Stirling.

The route will be a circular route around Loch Tay and Loch Rannoch with a loop via Glen Cochill and Glen Quaich. The route follows A and B class roads with an alternative off-road section for those interested.

The first motorcycles will leave at 10am and the remainder to follow in groups of 5-10 at one minute intervals. Just in case you flake out through lack of food there will be a lunch break on route.

For entry details contact Pete Remington on 01539 560695 or email [email protected] Entries to be received by Monday, April 15. The organisers reserve the right to amend the event or to refuse entry without giving a reason for such refusal.
