The South Wales Sunbeam Motorcycle Club was founded in 1978 by a group of pals in the Cardiff/Pontypridd area who all rode, and enjoyed, their Sunbeam S7s and S8s.
One of the original founding members, Mr Dave Osborne, is today’s Club President and Malcolm Uphill, from nearby Caerphilly, who became the first man to lap the Isle of Man TT circuit at over 100mph on a production machine, was an active club member for many years.
