Cover cracker

What a cracking picture on the front of December’s OBM of Charlie Bruce.

It looked a very purposeful bike and more than likely a one-off, and it looks like the engine is a cut-down KTT with home-brewed double knocker top and front forks home-brewed with top end front tube etc.

NNC RR B0244 – Scarborough September 19, 1958 – Charlie Bruce (248cc Velocette)

Has anyone got any info on it and if it still exists?

It was the like of this special that kept British hopes aloft through the ‘50s and ‘60s.
