Classic bikes are back at the National Tramway Museum

It would be hard to imagine a better location for a classic motorcycle event than the National Tramway Museum in Derbyshire – and on Sunday, July 2 next year, museum staff and members of the East Midlands section of the Vincent Owners’ Club will be jointly organising a Classic Motorcycle Day that will run from 10am until 5pm, writes Jon Lambley.

A non-profit-making organisation, the National Tramway Museum is run mainly by volunteers whose passion is to keep the museum and its trams running. It organises many excellent events throughout the year, ranging from a 1940s Home Front Day to various motoring club days, but ever since a previously-held motorcycle event stopped running several years ago, it has always wanted to resurrect it.
