The catalogue presented by Aste Bolaffi for the spring auction of mopeds, scooters and motorbikes is as varied and interesting as never before!
To begin with, here is the fun and valuable selection of 70s/80s mini motorbikes that includes an extremely rare All Car Victor (lot 2) and an unusual SWM VKS.
The focal point, however, will be the part dedicated to Japanese scramblers from the 1970s: never officially arrived in Europe due to the protectionist laws of the period, they were the pioneers of a genre of motorbikes that characterised an entire era of motorcycling; Honda CL 77 (lot 60) and Suzuki T 305 (lot 124), 250 Scrambler (lot 125) and T 250 Hustler (lot 126) with their glittering chrome and particular liveries will be the undisputed stars.
No less important is the section dedicated to sports and racing motorbikes: the queen is unquestionably the Matchless G 50 (lot 85). On the sidelines are the BSA Rockett III (lot 29) and the Triumph T 150 with their characteristic ‘letterbox’ fairings.
Of note is the Motobi 250 GP Zanzani (lot 106).
There is no lack of Japanese bikes from the 1970s with the majestic Kawasaki Z 900 Testanera (lot 75) and the 500 H 1 (lot 74) and the Honda CB Four 500 and 350 (lots 62 and 61).
Italian motorbikes from the 1940s/50s/60s are present with various Mondial (lot 90), Parilla (lot 112) and Gilera (lot 50). Classic Moto Guzzi bikes stand out with a beautiful 500 GTV (lot 94). Ducati could not miss out with the fascinating Super Sport 600, 750 and 900 (lots 38, 39,40).
The off-road and enduro world is represented this time by the iconic Spanish trial bikes Montesa, Bultaco and Ossa as well as the curious Italian Fantic and SWM. Rally raids are also present with the mammoth BMW R 80 and 100 G/S (lots 23 and 25).
Finally, some curiosities are worth mentioning, such as the beautiful Motom Delfino (lot 107), the elegant Lambretta 125 LD (lots 66 and 67) and the mighty military Dnepr Sidecar (lot 37).
