Thanks for publishing my piece and photos of horizontal-engined motorcycles in the August edition of OBM.
The letter from George Simpson in Angus with the photo of a racerised water-cooled Adler MB250 taken back in the Sixties, prompted these photos of my 1955 Adler RS250 water-cooled factory racer.

Adlers have always been a favourite of mine, ever since I bought my first from Comerfords in 1958, a 250 Favorit with swinging arm.
Shortly after producing this the factory closed.


By the way my name is not Robin Hughes, but I have, no doubt, been called worse…
