1928 BSA disappears from Essex workshop

by

Glen Grindod has emailed us to say that a 1928 BSA S28 DeLuxe that he was restoring was stolen from his workshop in Fyfield, Essex, at the beginning of January.

The 500cc BSA S28 was coming along nicely when it was stolen from Glen Grindod’s workshop.

When he came across the machine in a collection of motorcycles two years ago, it had been taken apart by a previous owner, but everything was there, in totally original condition.

The BSA carries frame number 11120 and engine number 19748, and Glen is anxious to recover it and prevent someone buying a stolen machine.
